There are two type of enterprise groups, a group with all members and department groups, facilitating internal communication. The all member group is turned on by default. Only administrators have the permission to manage enterprise groups.
All Member Group #
All employees in your organization will automatically join the group after joining the organization, and leave the group automatically after resigning.
Desktop #
Step 1: Enter the admin console of your organization #
Click … More – Management. Choose your organization and enter the admin console.
Step 2: Set the group name, admin, and members #
Click Contacts – Member Management – Edit department information.
Note: The group name is the organization name. After editing the information, please click OK to save your settings.
Mobile #
Tap Contacts – Manage – Group Chat – Enterprise Group (All Staff).
As for settings for the group, please go to the admin console on computers.
Department Groups #
Besides All Member Group, department groups are also available. All the members in the same department would be in the group. The department group would be created by default once you create the group.
Desktop #
Step 1: Enter the admin console of your organization #
Click … More – Management. Choose your organization and enter the admin console.
Step 2: Set the group name, admin, and members #
Click Contacts – Member management. Find the department and click Edit department information.
Note: The group name is the department name. If you want to change the name, change the name of the department. After editing the information, please click OK to save your settings.
Mobile #
Tap Contacts – Manage – Members & Departments – Department Settings. You will see Department Group.
With regard to settings for the group, please go to the admin console on computers.
