For KPKT-licensed moneylenders

Your loan book and your KPKT registers, in one place.

Every loan, receipt and register comes from the same records. You stop rebuilding registers before an inspection, and you see overdue loans before they cost you.

Where it goes wrong

Lending is the easy part.
The paperwork is where you lose money.

Most licensed lenders run two worlds: a loan spreadsheet, and a pile of registers, scanned agreements, receipt books and WhatsApp chats. They drift apart. You find out at the worst moment.

⚠

Receipts that don't match

A repayment goes into the ledger, but the receipt is late, missing or filed under the wrong name.

Costs you: findings at inspection

↻

Registers rebuilt by hand

Staff spend days copying loans into Lampiran A and the annual return before every deadline.

Costs you: staff time, every year

⏱

Overdue loans noticed late

Nobody chases a missed instalment until it has turned into a real problem.

Costs you: cash you should have collected

✉

Complaints with no record

A borrower complains on WhatsApp, gets an answer, and there's no record of how long it took.

Costs you: risk to your licence

Before and after

One set of records. Everything else follows from it.

BEFORE
  • Loans in a spreadsheet, registers in another file
  • Receipt book written by hand
  • Agreements scanned into a shared folder
  • Rates and fees typed in by whoever is at the counter
  • Annual return compiled the week it's due
WITH APES
  • Loan book and statutory registers built from the same loan data
  • A receipt issued for every repayment, matched to the ledger
  • Agreement signing status for every loan on one page
  • Rates and fees come from your loan products, within the legal ceilings
  • Annual return prepared page by page from your records
How a loan runs

From application to annual return, one journey.

You decide which steps your borrowers go through. Every step leaves a record of who did what, and when.

Apply

The borrower checks the numbers in a calculator, then applies on their phone in Bahasa Malaysia or English.

Check

Identity and credit checks sit inside the application, so your team reviews everything in one place.

Decide

A loan manager approves with a note. Above your limit, a second approver signs off too.

Offer and attest

The borrower sees the full figures, accepts, and confirms the attestation notice on their phone.

Sign

The agreement is signed in a fixed order: borrower, attestator, then your director.

Disburse

Money goes out only after the agreement is executed, with a checklist and a record of every transfer.

Collect

Instalments, receipts, statements and reminders. An overdue loan opens a collection case by itself.

Report

Lampiran A, the annual return (Lampiran B and B1) and reports for any period, with CSV export.

What it does

Your borrowers get an app. Your team gets control.

Borrowers see clear numbers and every step. Your team sees every loan, decision and change.

🧮

Clear numbers up front

Instalment, interest, stamp duty, fees and the amount received, before the borrower applies.

📄

The offer, in full

The same figures your team approved, frozen at the moment the borrower accepts.

✅

Attestation on record

The notice, an optional self-recorded video and the borrower's acknowledgement, kept with the loan.

You set the rules. Every change is kept.

  • Your loan products, fees and lending ceilings, never above what the law allows
  • Which borrower steps are required, optional or off
  • How long an offer stays open, and the amount that needs a second approver
  • The person who captures an application doesn't approve it, unless you choose otherwise
  • Every setup change is recorded with its reason. Nothing is edited quietly
Built around the Moneylenders Act

The rules are checked on every loan.

APES is designed around the Moneylenders Act 1951 and the Moneylenders Regulations 2003, so a loan outside the limits simply can't be approved.

12%a year ceiling for secured loans

APES supports your compliance process. It doesn't replace your licence, your legal adviser or your own judgement.

What it means for the business

Less time on paperwork. More control over your money.

PROTECT YOUR LICENCE

Ready when KPKT asks

Registers, receipts, agreements and complaints come from daily work, so an inspection is a report, not a project.

IMPROVE CASH FLOW

Chase overdue loans sooner

Instalments turn overdue the day after they're due, reminders go out, and each overdue loan gets a collection case with an owner.

CONTROL COSTS

Stop rebuilding registers

No more copying loans into Lampiran A or compiling the annual return by hand. Your team works on loans, not paperwork.

Start small

Bring us the register that worries you most.

You don't have to move every loan on day one. Many lenders start with whatever keeps them up at night: receipts, complaints or the main register. The rest follows as you gain confidence.

Questions

What lenders ask us

Is this only for KPKT-licensed moneylenders?

The statutory registers and forms are built for Malaysian moneylenders under the Moneylenders Act 1951. If you lend under another regime, the loan book side can still model your products. Talk to us about your situation.

Does the borrower app come with it?

The borrower app is an add-on. Borrowers can check a loan with the calculator, apply, accept the offer, attest, sign and follow their repayments, in Bahasa Malaysia or English. You choose which steps they go through.

Can it work with e-signing, eKYC, credit reports and online payments?

APES is built to connect to these providers, using your own accounts with them. We go through which providers you use and set them up with you.

Can we lend to companies?

Not yet. The module is built for individual borrowers today. Loans to companies stay outside the system for now.

How many loans can it handle?

The annual return is prepared for books of up to 10,000 loans. If yours is bigger, let's talk.

Do we need our own IT team?

No. Appnicorn sets up your workspace and supports your team. You run it day to day.

How much does it cost?

It depends on what you need: the core module, the borrower app and the connections you want. Tell us about your book and we'll give you a clear proposal.

Run your loans. Let the registers take care of themselves.
