Managing products in WooCommerce is simple once you understand the flow. Whether you're adding new items or editing existing ones, follow these instructions:
✅ To Add a New Product:
- Login to WordPress Admin Panel

- Navigate to Products
- On the left menu, go to Products > Add New
- Enter Product Details
- Product Name – Title of your product (e.g., “iPhone 13 Pro 256GB”)
- Description – Full product details (appears in the main product area)
- Short Description – Brief summary (shows next to the image)
- Select Product Type
- Simple, Variable, Downloadable, etc.
- For most physical items, choose Simple Product
- Set Pricing
- Regular Price – Main price
- Sale Price – (Optional) discounted price
- Manage Inventory
- Click on the Inventory tab
- Set SKU (Stock Keeping Unit)
- Enable stock management if needed and set quantity
- Add Product Images
- Product Image – Main image
- Product Gallery – Additional photos (e.g., different angles)
- Assign Categories and Tags
- Helps users navigate your store
- e.g., Category: iPhones, Tag: 256GB, Silver
- Set Shipping Details (Optional)
- Weight, dimensions, shipping class
- Publish
- Click Publish to make the product live
✏️ To Edit an Existing Product:
- Go to Products > All Products
- Find the product using the search or filter
- Click Edit under the product name
- Update any details (name, price, stock, etc.)
- Click Update to save changes
